PERMANENT MAKEUP
Permanent makeup is a cosmetic technique involving a very fine needle to insert colored natural pigments into the dermal layer of the skin. It produces designs that resemble makeup which is commonly done on lips, eyelids, and eyebrows.
There are many ways to enhance your eyes, eyebrows, and lips. First, take a look at the options available to you at Gulf Coast Beauty. Then, please contact us for any questions you may have and schedule an appointment. Together, we can find the look that works best for you.

On the day of the treatment: Absorb
-
Gently blot the area with a clean tissue to absorb excess lymph fluid.
-
Do this every 5 minutes for the entire day until the oozing has stopped. Removing this fluid prevents the hardening of the lymph.
Days 1-7: Wash
-
Wash daily to remove bacteria and dead skin. Don't worry! This DOES NOT remove the pigment!
-
Gently wash your procedure area each morning and night with water and an antibacterial soap like Dial Soap, Cetaphil, or Neutrogena.
-
Do NOT use any cleansing products containing acids (glycolic, lactic, or AHA) or any exfoliants.
-
With a very light touch, use your fingertips to gently cleanse the affected area, rubbing the area in a smooth motion for about 10 seconds.
-
Rinse with cool to lukewarm water only, ensuring you have rinsed away all the soap.
-
To dry, gently pat with a clean tissue.
Days 1-7: Moisturize
-
Apply a rice grain amount of Aftercare ointment with a cotton swab and spread it across the treated area.
-
Be sure not to over-apply, as this will suffocate your skin and delay healing. The ointment should be barely noticeable on the skin.
-
Never put the ointment on a wet or damp tattoo.
